The Youth Peace Symposium is an event that gives the opportunity for rangatahi from secondary kura to come together safely in peace and harmony to discuss issues relevant to society. It is instrumental in the education of ākonga on peace issues, as well as promoting peace education. This event provides a forum for manaakitanga, whanaungatanga, kotahitanga, sharing, networking and dialogue. It reveals the power of inspiring and outstanding young rangatira, coming together to make a positive difference in their whānau and communities.
