My name is Christina Barruel and I am the Head of Peace Education and Co-Manager for Te Rōpū Rongomau o Aotearoa – The Peace Foundation.

With a career in Peace Education spanning 35 years, the Peace Foundation school programmes are my life’s work.

Our school programmes teach children from 5 to 18 years old how to change their world for the better by leading conflict resolution amongst their peers. Equipped with communication, problem solving and conflict management skills, these confident young leaders make a huge impact helping their schools, homes and communities thrive.
